Opinions and advice on prototype spell.

Okay I am in the process of making a new spell designed to aid animals.
Now since it is VERY hard to get said animals permission for a spell, it is easier not to do a spell on them but to call upon the goddess and god to grant you the power to aid said animal as they see fit.
So theoretically instead of interceding with magic you are merely seeking to pass along a blessing that grants aid, therefore you do not need the animal�s permission as the aid would more then likely be of what their will wants it to be. Or more specifically be the will of the goddess and god at work and therefore not really affect your karma in any way since you a little more then an intermediary.

The downside of this could be that your spell ( it is technically a spell since it accomplishes all three steps required to be so) could heal the animal to full health, or it could kill it in cases where a shift death would be the only aid left available.

Is this a good idea for a spell or not?
I could see reason on both sides of it being a good one and it not being a good one but at this point I would like some opinions and advice before I actually finalize it and move on to the testing phase of the spell.

On a side note I could post the spell as is if it would help some to see it as it is now.

is Reiki worth it?

Hello :)
I've been looking for ages for a reiki teacher around where I live, and today I walked into the kitchen and there was a booklet about local businesses with reiki training and healing on the front. After going on the website, I found out how expensive they were. �250 for level 1 and 2 training-a two and a half day course. I'm a student at college at the moment, so I'm kind of living off of my allowance- I get my child benefits every month (about �80), so should I save up for it? I'd really like to learn because I'm sure I'll need to use it some day. Is it worth it?

I don't know about you but I have days when I really feel hemmed in so to speak with every day life and it's restrictions to how I would really love to live my Wiccan life. For example, I wish I had more free time to enjoy outside with mother nature or with the local wildlife. I feel like I'm missing out on the Earth and all of her wonderful gifts. Does that make sense? I'd definitely love to be more self sufficient. I was wondering if anyone else felt this way and if they had more time or one goal in their Wiccan life what would it be?

buying non-synthetic essential oils?

I was reading my new book 'oils, incense and brews' by Scott Cunningham (great book I'd recommend it), and he kept mentioning in it that the oils that you can buy for 3 or 4 pounds are not natural, even if they claim to be '100% pure,' he said that, although you can use synthetic oils if you want to, they don't have a very big effect when used in magick. So I've been looking for non-synthetic oils all over the web and so far I haven't had much luck. Does anyone know where I can buy them from? Preferably a site that you've used before, one that you know is safe to buy from?

There are many books and other tools available to us now that tell us that we can manifest almost anything we want.

Have you read any of this kind of thing?
Have you tried to manifest anything?
Has it worked for you?

I used Manifesting Matisse, a wonderful easy to follow and inspiring book. I'm going to Corfu because of this book.

A friends dog is terminally ill. My friend says she knew that the dog wouldn't live a long life, the dog is only four years old now.

My somewhat worrying thought is; did my friend attract this unfortunate situation with her own thoughts or did she really know that the dog wouldn't live to be old?

Thoughts are a powerful thing, I can manifest all sorts of outcomes if I try hard enough. I know my friend wouldn't have willingly tried to manifest the dogs illness, it's just that there is a lot of illness in her family and I'm wondering if she somehow draws it to her.
I'd appreciate your thoughts about this, thanks.

The other night my friend slept over at my house. she has a belly ring and a couple of weeks ago, it got infected. She showed me and I told her to lie down. I ran my left hand over the air above it and it felt hot, and it felt as if something was pushing ever so slightly against my hand. Like a small resistance. So I just kind of channeled energy up from the ground, through my solar plexus chakra up into myshoulders, then down and through my right hand into her stomach and around the area, after about 5 minutes of trying with no avail she said she felt something like a wave flow through her stomach.
I pushed the energy further and further and I begun to shake slightly from effort. And I concerntrated so hard and she said it was like 2000 butterflys flying in her stomach in a constant pattern. Like a ocean current. I continued to push harder and harder and I begun shaking and feeling slightly cold like I had gotten a small fever but I felt healthy. I felt energy rushing through all of my body, my fingers shook, my breathe quickened. I was like a rush of adrenaline. Once I could do no more I stopped. She called me two days ago and told me it was healed and that the doctor was astounded.

Does anybody else know how to do this and can tell me how I can fine tune this, ability? I am quite curious. I am also highly sensitive to energies and meditate often. Would this have anything to do with this strange healing ability.

And after i healed her i felt extremely exhausted. Dont know if that matters but, yeah :)

Okey dokey here is one of those topics to get people talking. Not as interesting as discussing hexes/curses but still something that divides opinion in some places.

What is your stance on nakedness within your faith?

I am not one for prancing about starkers. I have nothing against those who do but I myself don't see the need. I read that some believe being naked for ritual shows honesty to the lord and lady. I feel that if the lady and lord are within you and all around then they will know your intent and honesty whether your clothed or standing before the altar with your baps on display. Hmm I know some covens believe in nudity and then again some wear ceremonial robes.
I'm sure some have body issues and would rather keep covered, and others like myself just don't see it as necessary regardless of traditions.

What do you guys think

I have found three four leaf clovers in three days, one each day.
Finding one makes you lucky, two, VERY lucky, but three?
It makes me wonder if it is some kind of sign or something, but what of, and from what or whom ( goddess and or god)?

Any one have any insight on this?

My friend had this dream but I think I am too close to help her with it. If anyone can shed some light I'd be very grateful. This is it in a nutshell.

Three of us are supposed to catch a train to the airport, apparently I miss the train and my friends miss the plane. Distraught my friend eventually arrives at her destination to find a dead crow on her bed.

Hi everyone, I bought the new Prediction Magazine yesterday and I have to say I thought it was fab! It had so many different things in it from ideas for Beltane, information on up and coming pagan events around the country, lots of Astrological information, new products on the market....the list is endless.
