Welcome to the Legendary Llangollen Faery festival!

Held over the 10th and 11th of August, this magical event will open your eyes to the enchanting World of Faery. There will be a host of events to keep younger fans happy, whilst the Faery Market, where you can buy beautiful faery keepsakes, plus fascinating Talks and Exhibitions will ensure that adults and older children are kept entertained too!

Llangollen is the beguiling setting for the event - a place steeped in faery tradition. Named after St. Collen, this beautiful town nestles against the dramatic backdrop of Castell Dinas Bran, (Crow Castle). This is a mystical hill topped by ancient ruins where St.Collen was introduced to Gwyn ap Nudd, the King of the Fairies.… and you'll have to come to The Legendary Llangollen Faery Festival to find out what happened next!

The venue is the cultural epicentre of Wales, The Royal International Pavilion, home of the celebrated International Eisteddfod where Llangollen plays host to the world. It's within easy walking distance of the town centre and there is ample free parking.

The event is free for anyone under 12 - everyone else can Buy tickets here.

For the grown ups, there will be a Grand Faery Ball on the evening of the 10th of August. Commencing at 7.00pm, tickets cost just 6 - less if bought in combination with a day or weekend pass. A full bar will be available serving drinks both naughty & nice. So get out your wings and come and dance 'til your shoes wear out to live music from Drowsy Maggie, The Bear Beats Band and Charlotte Oram.

This year we are delighted to introduce the curious case of the 'mummified fairy,' with Curator Dan Baines. A hoax? Maybe. As Dan says:

"Even if you believe in fairies, as I personally do, there will always have been an element of doubt in your mind that would suggest the remains are a hoax. However, the magic created by the possibility of the fairy being real is something you will remember for the rest of your life."

So come and join us for an unforgettable weekend of fun and pure magic…
